Intuition – Your Compass In Life

Intuition – Your Compass In Life

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and you felt they were not being totally truthful? Or perhaps you felt the person had hidden intentions behind their words?

That’s what experts call a double binding message. When the information coming out of the individuals mouth doesn’t match the vibe you’re picking up.

Following our intuition will not only save us from making poor decisions in business and life, but also propels us to the success we desire much faster.

Following your intuition serves as your compass during the mental side of business. It’s the higher “spiritual”  side of us that guides us in the direction we truly want to go.

Reclaiming your intuition is much easier than you’d think. I’ve created 3 simple steps to help you follow your intuition on a daily basis.

1.Listen

What inner voice speaks to you first, your intuition or logic? Its always your intuition.  “Your intuition is what you know before you think.” The moment you begin to consciously think you’ve moved into a space of deductive reasoning and logic.

Listening to the quiet inner voice that comes to you in a blink of an eye is always right. Train yourself to become consciously aware of understanding what that voice is telling you. Its your intuition, and its trying to help you.

2. Create An Affirmation

To help support the idea of becoming consciously aware of your inner voice create a powerful affirmation.

  • I always allow my intuition to guide me
  • I am now in tune with my inner voice
  • I am grateful for following my intuition

Repeat your affirmations right before sleeping and waking up. Really feel as though you are consciously aware of the inner voice and always follow through on your gut feelings.

If you have just received an intuitive hit then immediately follow it up with one of your affirmations. You’ll be less apt to begin processing the idea with logic and more emotionalized with following your intuition.

3. Take Action

Begin to train yourself to allow your intuition to guide you by taking action. Our intuitions are constantly at work and always giving us instant gut feelings.

You can keep it simple and fun by making it a game. When I am left with a choice of intuition versus logic I’ll play a game. I make a decision to take action based on one of the two and see how it plays out. Following my intuition and not my logic always leads me to a better place.

Make it the new “normal” to follow your intuition and allow it to guide you in the right direction.
