So I headed over to my buddy’s house Dr Sukhi to watch the Kona Ironman World Championships. Now, Sukhi has been workin’ the entrepreneurial game for about ten years longer than me. He’s got some cool toys, a big ass brand new custom built home and a TV with a surround sound system that rocks.

From a material (who has a bigger ____ ) he’s rockin’ it out. BUT, he still has a few years on me so I’ve got some time to build up my net-worth. What is so incredible to me is this. After getting to know Sukhi over the past year I have learned a TON.

I learned I was playing life WAY TO SMALL. Do you have friends like this? Their lifestyle contradicts yours and you think that’s SO awesome I know these people but I’m playing too small in my own life.

Now I don’t think your should “Compare” yourself to other peeps BUT it does give you contrast. There are two really important aspects you have GOT to remember then this happens.

Like Attracts Like: The fact you’re even SPEAKING with these people means you’re vibing with them
On some level the Universe is showing you what’s possible for you. If you want it. Success leaves clues and if you ask anyone who has achieved what you desire, surely they have a clear and concise plan exactly how.
Ask questions, and lots of them. Whenever I’m around someone who has achieved something I admire, I ask TONS of questions. I will even bring a note pad and pen.

So how do you deal with friends who have nicer sh*t than you? With gratitude in the realization we are all created equal. And now might be the perfect time for you to start growing.

You can’t soar with the eagles hanging around the crows all day.

Clear Your MIND Clutter! Tips To Attract Abundance And Clear Your Head

I’m writing this blog post at 10:43pm on a Saturday night here in Penticon, Canada. Why? Because I’m up here cheering on some friends for the Ironman 2011 event and have realized something HUGE. The Universe doesn’t like clutter. I’ll give you an awesome example to help you understand exactly what I’m talking about…

When you think about clearing your clutter from the day what does your Authentic Voice say?

I’ll do it in the morning I’m too tired
I don’t have the time or energy to do it
I do it sometimes but then I stop

Thoughts, feelings, actions, results. Always be curious of what your Authentic Voice says…

The best actions you can take is clear everything out for your day surrounding your business. EVERYTHING and make the space for NEW people and opportunities to come into your life.

A couple of SOLID tips that I learned from my mentor John Assaraf is to answer emails and messages on the spot right when they come into your phone or computer. If I’m out I’ll respond right away from my BlackBerry. Not only does it totally help with giving a response right away but also to CLEAR YOUR MIND of whatever the message was about. This also opens the space for allowing more success to flow in.

Secondly I like to invest 1 hour a night into making sure I am totally clearing out everything. Is everyday like this? No, but I do my best and 6/7 days I’m good.

Are You A Personal Growth Junkie Manifesting From Hope Or Strategy?

Interesting question right? I’ve played on both sides of the fence and I wanted to share with you HOW you can increase your manifesting right now. I have yet to find the “magic program” that costs $297 and changes peoples lifestyles dramatically.

When you think about everything you want to manifest what does your Authentic Voice say?

I know someday its going to happen…someday.
I sometimes wonder why its taking so long.
I always manifest small stuff but never something life changing.

Thoughts, feelings, actions, results. Always be curious of what your Authentic Voice says…

I love personal development. But are there junkies? I mean people who are “hooked” but never really manifest what they truly want? Heck yeah.

Some people call them “celing surfers.” Meaning they’re more about thinking then action.

I’ve been there. You grow like crazy, but your lifestyle never changes. What gives?

Over the past 45 days I’ve learned a LOT. Added $2,500/month residual to my income and getting qualified for a FREE BMW by promoting a 90 Day Health Challenge I can tell you two things.

1. Meditation and Visualization are bogus if you’re sitting on your butt.

2. Unstoppable action creates results.

Of course I still meditate and visualize BUT, I don’t use it alone.

Action.

Follow me? Even today (which is why I’m writing this) I can get caught up in a “dream like state” by visualizing with what’s possible and slow down on action.
That is the death of your momentum.

If anything I’ve learned this.

1. Set the intention

2. Work your ass off with the right strategy

3. Manifest your goals!

I’m highly leaning towards manifesting is 90% strategy and 10% mindset.

Tony Robbins talks a lot about for everything in life there is a strategy. Yep, success leaves clues.

I’ve been to lots of personal development seminars with BIG NAME speakers literally promoting products that 90% of the people who buy them will do nothing with.

Personal Development Junkies.

Why? No action. No results. It’s a feeling of that “new thing” that’s going to change their life.

Shoot I’ve done it. We’ve all done it. Manifesting works, it really does. BUT you have got to take a crazy amount of action.

And it’s not just action. Its being committed and doing the scary stuff! Don’t delay, do it first.

Pick up the phone, meet that person, make that business decision, speak in front of those people, whatever! Just do SOMETHING!

When Tiger Woods was going through his “scandals” I read about a guy that made golf balls with each one of his mistresses.

He was the first to do this, had it packed up all nice and sold them on EBAY. Within a couple of months made over $700,000!

Would that have happened based on HOPE?

No, not alone. Action will change your life. It all starts with you and taking action now my friend.

Get Your Manifesting “Mojo” Going!

A lot of people talk about manifesting, but have a really hard time nailing down an exact formula they can consistently apply in their lives. I want to give you an outline. A formula that works for me time and time again, and I’ve taught to many of my coaching clients. Typically, people get caught up in the “how.” It’s taken me 6 years of learning and growing myself to be able to share this information so I hope you enjoy it!

When you think about manifesting what you want into your life, what does your Authentic Voice say?

It comes and goes but I can’t consistently do it.
I struggle with believing it will really happen
I always manifest super cool stuff into my life!

STEP 1 – Creating The Space Of Clarity

Five years ago I was at a personal development seminar. The speaker, who’s name is Scott DeMoulin asked the group, who here wants more money in their life? Of course everyone put their hands up. He came off stage and walked up to one woman and handed her a twenty five cent coin. She looked at Scott saying, uuummm thanks?!

He said, there you go you have more money. Are you happier? See you can ask for MORE MONEY, but unless you’re specifically clear, the Universe doesn’t know what to give you. Essentially you send mixed signals, and attract unclear results.

To create clarity, I like to write things downs over the course of several days. Think about it. Then when I’m absolutely CRYSTAL CLEAR what I intend on attracting I write it out on my white board that is right beside my office window. Now you’re rockin’! You’re saying YES, this is EXACTLY what I’m attracting!

QUICK TIP! Once you attract that “thing” or “experience” you’ll know because you’ll feel you have already achieved it long ago once you physically achieve it.

STEP 2 – Write Down A Date, Speed Up The Process

This is where people mess up. I speak to SO MANY PEOPLE on a daily basis for the 90 Day Health Challenge I promote and my coaching too. There are usually two common questions I ask peeps. What’s the date you’d like to be healthy, or what’s the date you’d like to be free from your JOB.

If they take more than 2 seconds to answer the question I know they don’t have no! Well, um, oh, yeah….let’s see. Yeah, there is no date set. If there’s no date then you’re “just hoping” things are going to change.

The people I speak with that do have a date can rattle it off in a blink of an eye.

What’s the MOST important part? Write it down. A goal without a date that is NOT written down is NOT A GOAL. It’s a dream that someone hopes will manifest into their reality.

QUICK TIP! You can write it down on a white board or better yet create your life with my “OMG, You Mean I Can Have Everything I Want” Workbook.

STEP 3 – The Art Of Visualization

You’ve heard it before right? Visualize and attract everything YOU WANT TODAY! There is a right way to do this, and a wrong way.

The FAST way (or what I consider the right way) is to take your visualizations from your “head to your heart.” A lot of people try and SEE what it looks likes. I say screw that.

I FEEL what it FEELS likes. You can create emotion without seeing something, instead feeling it and pretending.

Now you’re thinking well Ry, you mean I can manifest a Porsche just as quickly as a penny on the ground? No, everything has a time stamp on it based on your level of emotion and…..strategy. But well get into that in just a second.

The reason you want to visualize is for two reasons. Train your brain to focus on what you “DO WANT.” Also, to send a powerful signal to the Universe line me up with this “thing” or “experience.”

Remember, the Universe is the BOMB. It LOVES helping you out IF you know what you want with EMOTION.

Quick Tip! I like to strap on a set of headphones and crank out on of my favourite tunes. Usually for about 2-5 minutes I’ll FEEL how great it feels to experience what I intend on manifesting AS IF it’s already happened.

STEP 4 – Forget About It, Take Action

Seriously, forget you even set the intention and did steps 1 -3. You don’t want to “Dig Up Your Seed.” This is where a lot of people fail. They have good intentions but place more focus on wondering if it’s really doing to happen rather than taking action.

Set it and forget it! I think that’s George Foreman’s grill. Talk about a great tagline right?

Everytime you take action that lines up with what you intend on manifesting you’re confirming to the Universe THIS IS WHAT I WANT. Without action, no confirmation.

The more momentum you build from taking action the FASTER the universe will give you what you want. People ask me, how did you win a free iPad online? How did you hit the rank of Regional Director with your 90 Day Challenge? How do you always place in the TOP 10 and 20 spots for affiliate contests? How did you become a published co-author?

Simple. I always set the intention and get to work.

QUICK TIP! As I’m taking action with my life and business I have the mindset it’s already achieved. I speak like it’s achieved, I act like it’s achieved and I go to sleep believing it’s achieved. I never think it’s out there STILL having to happen. It’s already happened.

STEP 5 – The Path Of Gratitude

I have a really interesting way to keep myself grounded and connected. I love nature. It’s when I feel the most connected to life. Once I’ve started the process of step 1-4 I take daily walks in nature.

Except I have an intention. I walk what I call, “The Path Of Gratitude.”

I’ll be walking in a trail and choose a spot that is around 500 feet or longer. For that distance I’ll soak up the environment and go through my head everything that I’m grateful for in my life right now.

It’s interesting because you’ll find your mind wonder.

Stick with gratitude. As an example my thought process would be something like, I’m grateful for this fresh air, my health, my dog Hudson, the freedom I have, the continued growth I experience, the wonderful positive people that come into my life, for sharing my message and impacting lives, for having peace of mind, for my mac computer, for my deep connection with my source. ANYTHING.

I cover anything, spiritual, relationships, money, health, physical, non physical. ANYTHING that I feel gratitude for. I’ve personally found almost every time after walking “The Path Of Gratitude” I come out with some amazing idea.

QUICK TIP! You can be grateful for ALREADY achieving your step 1-4 OR, something in your life right now. Whatever raises your vibration and creates a higher level of gratitude in your life WILL speed up your manifesting process.

Adventures In Manifesting – Health And Happiness

The story how I manifesting this into my life is rather interesting. In fact, I wasn’t even consciously thinking about it.

I get this phone call from a friend of mine named Sean, who owns a publishing company. I first met Sean about five years ago when we experienced a six month personal growth immersion course together. The conversation pretty much went like this, “Dude, we’re publishing a book called Adventures In Manifesting. We’re going to have some amazing world-class authors. You need to get inside.”

What was my first intuitive hit….YES. But then the excuses came out. Actually man, I’m really busy right now!

Let’s see, I have my RyanYokome.com brand online, I’m growing a business with ViSalus, I’m training for multiple upcoming marathons, and I’m cranking out content on DirtyRunners.com.

I had ALL the excuse in the world not to write a chapter.

Not to mention, Adventures In Manifesting has some SOLID authors that have already written dozens of books. Did I feel intimidated to write. HELL YEAH!

So my response to Sean was simple….no thanks man, I’m too BUSY right now. Next time you use the term “I’m too busy”, ask yourself if you’re too busy, or running back into your comfort zone.

A couple weeks went by and I was still thinking about the Adventures In Manifesting book, but had already made the decision.

How I Landed Adventures In Manifesting

You know how I talk allot about association right? It’s so powerful because you’re only as good as the people you hang around with. Well lucky for me I surround myself with some pretty cool people and you should too.

A few weeks later I get a call from the publisher Sean about Adventures In Manifesting. This conversation went like this, Dude I’m not taking NO for an answer. Take action and get inside the book. I’ve know you for years, love ya to death and know this is going to be HUGE!

What was I supposed to say to that?

Knowing that all successful people make FAST decisions, I immediately said YES! Alright man, direct me to the information on where I can get started.

That was it. If it wasn’t for having amazing friends challenging me to play life at a bigger level things like this wouldn’t be happening.

Adventures In Manifesting – Health and Happiness is going to be awesome! Not only do we have an AMAZING line up uf authors, but it’s 25 short stories of how people manifested incredible experiences into their lives.

So, what did we learn?

Take action when you Universe gives you an opportunity that lines up with your Authentic Path….even if it’s scary.

Well, that seems easy right? Now I wasn’t even CONSCIOUSLY thinking about this. I KNEW I would become a published author at some point in my life, I just wasn’t sure when.

Interesting how when you SET THE INTENTION, things just seem to fall into place.

As I said, Adventures In Manifesting is set to launch early to mid August. I’ll be doing an official launch for the book and ALSO doing some book giveaways! Stay tuned my friends it’s going to one CRAZY ADVENTURE!

Me Versus The Hot Blonde Chanel Wearing Woman At Starbucks

So I’m sitting at Starbucks finishing off some work when all the sudden this woman walks in. This wasn’t just an ordinary plain Jane kind of girl, she had SWAGGA! Seriously, I think everything went slow motion for a few seconds and everyone’s head turned and looked as she walked through the door. What caught me the most was her clothes. Let me explain…

I’m working on my computer (and a PC to boot!), with a POM juice and TEA to my side and stuff scattered everywhere.

Being the super chill guy I am, I decided to wear my workout clothes; shorts, hoodie, and Nike kicks because I NEVER thought I would ever run into anyone in public. Who would have thought right?

Since I never actually spoke to the Chanel wearing princess, I don’t know her name. So let’s just call her CS, Chanel Susie.

Chanel Susie: She’s wearing, True Religion jeans (pretty damn tight but I wasn’t looking), Coach purse, white shoes that I couldn’t even explain and had long wavy blonde hair.

Now Chanel Susie is rockin’ it out and SHE KNOWS she’s the bomb. Like I said, I think every dude in Starbucks stopped and watched her hair wave slowly as she walked to order her non fat, half whip, half sweetened latte. (Ok, I have no idea what she really ordered, but I would have paid.)

I wasn’t interested in her so much, but more what she was wearing (that didn’t sound weird.) Seriously, Chanel Susie was not just dressed nice, but she looked sharp. I’d say at least a 9 for clothes. What about me? I was feeling like a 5 based on what I was wearing. I was going for the “Nike just threw up on me” kind of look.

Now, I was not interested with “hitting on her.” Well, maybe from a business standpoint for the Body By Vi Challenge.

What’s my point?

Always dress for success. I realized if I want to take my life and business to the next level I’ve got to start dressing the way I LOVE. And that’s trendy with swagga. Especially if I want to start attracting the “Ballers” to start working with.

Always lessons in life to step if up.

Because there are a LOT of Bieber Fever haters. Seriously, there are TONS of people that think this kid should not be successful. I disagree completely…

That person is a joke, they shouldn’t even have the success they have!
Why makes that person so special!
I get totally jealous and feel envious of their results.

Here’s the thing about success. There are haters. Ya know, the people who think you shouldn’t have achieved what you have. A lot of people will look at you from the outside and judge you because of what you’ve achieved. But here’s the honest truth, most of them are dying on the inside to have a glimpse of that success. That’s the truth.

Here’s something to think about. Your subconscious will never become something you despise. Read that again and think about it.

Maybe you don’t have the desire to become Justin Bieber BUT, let’s look at his qualities.

He’s fully living and profiting with his passion
He’s giving hope for inspiring musicians all around the world
He’s maximizing his potential with his natural talents
He’s connecting with the TOP people in his industry

Love him or hate him he’s doing EXACTLY what you want do with your business. Exactly.

Makes sense right? So when you dislike someone for what they’ve achieved (assuming it’s ethical) you’re actually sending a REALLY powerful signal to the universe that you don’t want to be successful. Remember, you will never become anything that you despise.

Sometimes I don’t always like a signers voice, actors character, or entrepreneurs approach but you know what? I respect them for living their passion and playing full out to make it happen.

We’re all here to Step Into Our Greatness. For those of you who have FULLY done this I totally congratulate you. It takes a bold and big person to do this.

As you’re going about your day today, think about this. Do you judge people for what they have achieved? Are you making fun of successful people relating to those who do? Why do you do this? Maybe there is a piece of you that is jealous.

When you see someone rockin’ their passion today say, YEAH! That’s what I’m talking about! Way to go!! The more that you embrace success, the more success you attract. Like attract Like.

This approach is 100 percent mindset. So you’ll need to back up the Four C Formula with the right strategies depending on how you intend on attracting abundance. Just know this. If things start manifesting into your life really really fast, you did it not me.

Clarity . Confidence . Commitment . Consistency…..yeah baby.

The Four C formula is really easy when you apply it. Almost everyone misses out on the forth step. Treat your business like a business and it will reward you.

Here’s the formula I created for myself:

Clarity: You have to be totally clear about what you’re attracting. Seriously. Without this you’ll just attract your unclear ideas and thoughts. Write it down. What does it look like? Where are you taking your passion and your business? What are your current results and what is the gap you need to make?

Confidence: I believe we are all equal. This helps me to connect with anyone around the world. Even the “Gurus”. I don’t define myself by what I’ve achieved, and always raise my vibration to others around me. The key is to not just think you’re good, but KNOW you’re good. Don’t mistake this with erogance, it’s having a healthy confident respect for yourself. Whatever you do, DO NOT lower your vibration because of comparing yourself to others based on what you’ve achieved. You were born great,. and will always be great.

Commitment: If you commit to something, then stick with it. When I was a kid I would always stop half way. I literally had to train myself to finish what I started. Whatever it took. What does commitment look like? Well, if you want to attract more abundance it means deciding you want to start attracting more abundance, and having the mindset you’re willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. Sometimes, you need a accountability partner to achieve this. Leave a comment below and HOOK UP with a great accountability partner!

Consistency: This is where people miss it. They fall off and find every excuse in the book to quit. Seriously, they do. Since about 90% of my business comes from online, I MUST be consistent. I just can’t take two weeks off from blogging or Facebook and expect my readers to still be there. If you love what you do, and do what you love consistency is EASY. Every single day you need to be taking small action steps that will lead you to achieving your life’s goals and dreams.

Makes sense right? When you apply the Four C Formula, you’ll be blown away my friend. Make sure you take serious action and make a difference in your life.

Here’s the catch. You can be in total awe of this world (and I am) but you have to train yourself to be grounded. Or you become what James Author Ray calls – Ceiling Surfers.

Inside of you exists this person who is thriving, loving their life, living their passion, and maximizing life to its full potential. Is that you right now? If not, then cool. That just means you need to make some tweaks. I am going to give you 2 SOLID tips about how to step into your power starting today. You’re amazing, and I’ll show you how to expose that.

Tip #1 – Stop BS’ing What You’re Passionate About

This is the #1 killer which instantly takes you out of your inner power. I meet people all the time who say they’re really passionate about what they do, but you know they aren’t. You can feel it. Why kid yourself? You limit your potential and work against the grain. I should know, I did this for many years chasing money.

We are spiritual beings on a physical journey. Not physical beings on a spiritual journey. Think about that. You chose to be here. You could have 100X the fulfillment and quality of life making the decision to LIVE within your power by helping others with your passion.

Don’t know what your passionate about? Easy. What would you love to be excellent at if money didn’t exist in the world? You know what it is.

Maybe you’re thinking, yeah Ry great, but I can’t do that full-time and how would I ever make the time to do it! Has someone else done it? Good, then lower your excuse level and raise your deserving level. You can too. You’re more than that. Read Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuck. You’ll find every reason to turn your passion into payday.

Since you’re a spiritual being you can never expect to reach your full potential by doing something that doesn’t fill your heart with joy. Read that again. Take action now, and make that decision. It doesn’t matter what your current situation looks like, all it takes is a decision and the Universe will line it up.

By the way, pay close attention to weird coincidences. They’re steps to what actions you must take to make it happen. Also leave your comments below if you’re not to sure “how” to make it happen.

Tips #2 – Put Yourself In An Environment That Connects Your Spirit On A Daily Basis

Meditation is a great way to do this. But you know what? For me I feel the most connected exercising and walking through the middle of the forest. Remember you’re a spiritual being, and you need to connect back to your source on a daily basis. Watching the Plug In Drug (TV) isn’t going to do it for you…

For me, breathing the fresh air, getting my body moving, and feeling totally free is what gets me really connected. What works for you? When I’m in that space I receive AMAZING creative ideas and a renewed sense of self-worth.

Let’s just say, whenever I’m done exercising in nature, my Spiritual Batteries are charged and I’m full of life to give back to the world.

Whatever puts you in this state do it starting NOW. Seriously, don’t just read this blog post, take action and make it happen. If you don’t invest the time to do this, you’ll kill the flow of abundance in life. You’ll be going against the grain and trust me, you’ll feel it.

When you combine living your passion with connecting back to your source you WILL be rockin’ your life and helping others. You’ve been given so many gifts. Are you using them to your full potential or not living up to your infinite greatness?
