If you’re spending more than 30 minutes on Facebook a day you KNOW there is a TON of information being passed around. In fact, so much that if you’re like me you’ve become immune to the majority of marketing out there.

Recently it seems there has been a Massive influx of network marketers taking the You.inc route. Is this a good way to market your Opportunity or Affiliate? You bet it is.

However there is a science to approaching it. It’s kind of like an art.

What’s the BIGGEST SECRET?

You have to start by being yourself.

Even through words and video people FEEL you. Especially through video. My suggestion is to be yourself. After all you are branding yourself. I would just assume it’s easier to be YOU than an alter ego you may feel your captive audience would love to watch.

Now, here’s where the science comes in. You want to be YOU, but gear your content and actions towards your target market. This is the difference here guys.

There are lots of people being “Themselves” but unless you be “Yourself” with solid content that’s specifically geared towards hitting the HOT BUTTONS of your Ideal Prospects then You.inc is going to the wrong people.

There is a certain syntax and style of writing on Facebook that “pulls” readers in and gets people to be Magnetically Attracted in to comment on your posts. Now my friend you have a conversation starter with a possible qualified lead.

So be yourself….but do it with calculated decisions using attraction marketing techniques.

That my friend, is one of the KEYS to mastering the game of Facebook.

Isn’t that the question? I want to grow my business FAST, which do I choose? Let’s get right into this and I hope I can shed some light on the topic. I have been doing online marketing for almost a year now and have applied a great deal of material. I also have a ton of offline experience and would love to share my insight between both and how I approach my business to mix the two. If you’re not sure what approach is most effective I hope my insights and experience lend a hand.

Online Marketing

Online is great and if you’re reading this then chances are you’re already doing some form of online marketing – maybe for your home business or several affiliate programs.

A lot like you, I learned the online game from several people including Mike Dillard, Jonathan Budd, Katie Freiling, and Frank Kern. I’m guessing we probably do very similar marketing:

• Capture pages, PPC marketing, Blogs, Social Media marketing, Article marketing, Auto responders, and list building

Even though you can generate a CRAZY amount of leads daily and get people into your business you are still missing half the marketplace (Yes there are still people that don’t understand computers!).

This is why if you’re ONLY focusing on online marketing you’re missing out on 50% of the people that could be in your business, or be using your affiliate programs.

With online marketing you can reach a vast amount of people faster with qualified leads compared to offline. I have personally brought many people into my business from ppc marketing and it works great!

I have personally met some amazing people online that are great friends and business partners. This is why I believe it works, it’s just knowing how to approach online properly so you’re not running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off. Online works……

However, Don’t get SCARED and ONLY sit behind a computer!

If you own a home-based business it’s imperative you intertwine the two. Mainly because it’s critically important to build your own self-confidence and skill sets when it comes to face to face relationships.

You never know if the girl you run into at the grocery store could be your next HUGE team leader and your mindset was ONLY online so you didn’t even think to speak to her about your opportunity.

Offline Marketing

This is where you will find me! Offline is one of the most powerful approaches you can take when you have the right skill sets and you’re passionate about what you do.

It takes about two weeks once new people run through their warm market. Once they have talked with their brother, uncle, sister, mother, and close friends their done! No more people. Now they usually start building a list of everyone under the sun that sold them something.

Here’s the thing with Offline marketing, if you have excellent qualifying skills you can get TONS of people into your business. That’s why I love offline. So even though you may have burned through your warm market, now the fun begins with the cold market with people that will seriously build a business with you.

How do you meet new people? Start by getting away from your computer!!

Never limit yourself to new party invites or opportunities that are presented into your life. Everyday you do things and you meet new people just from getting out of the house! I will be TOTALLY honest, it’s easier to setup a marketing campaign online than to speak in front of quality people face to face or in a group. That’s why it’s important to have EXCELLENT qualifying skills.

Most people don’t want to talk to anyone! Why? Because for most people it scares them to death! Don’t be that person. Like I said, if you’re limiting yourself to only online you’re missing 50% of the market out there.

If you’re online of offline, either way you MUST have EXCELLENT qualifying skills. That is something that you can only become better at through rigorous practice in person or over the phone. If you’re great a qualifying then you can close leads like crazy that you’ve generated online. You can also do that face to face.

To Summarize

From my approach I would suggest having a mix of the two. The vast majority of people you meet online are pretty much trying to do the same thing you are. That’s why ppc marketing is excellent. Social Media sites likes Facebook are awesome too, but be careful because it’s full of people doing EXACTLY what you are doing, home- business or affiliate programs.

Offline if where I invest about 60% of my efforts. I’ve found it’s faster to build a much stronger team with really solid relationships. There’s nothing like getting to know someone face to face.

For me, the online game is great for branding, building a list, generating qualified leads, and affiliate programs. However I still love the offline game and consistently keep a mix of the two, as I see myself (and my business) grow I believe it’s important to be working both sides – both online and off.

What creates your brand? What is authentic about you that people are attracted to? If you’re marketing yourself Online then personal branding is essential to the attraction marketing process.

The question becomes HOW do you differentiate yourself from the rest of the crowd?

That’s simple….be yourself! Truthfully people will connect with and admire you more for being who you are.

I recently decided to have a close friend takes some shots of myself and my girlfriend. OH MAN I had so much FUN! When you’re branding yourself let loose and have some fun! If you’re serious and trying to pull off an image that isn’t you it doesn’t seem real.

I can honestly say that I am having a total BLAST connecting with everyone, branding online, and learning from some truly inspiring people.

If you’re not good on camera…who cares! Be yourself and get creative on WHO YOU ARE. That will always shine through. That’s why it’s OK to be goof, not get it right because people will still love you for who you are!
