SEO Pressor – Wordpress SEO Plugin “For Dummies” (Money Making Plugin Here)
August 23rd, 2010Yes that is right, the SEO Pressor plugin is basically a Wordpress SEO Plugin for dummies. I tell you this because SEO is not my strong point. So for me this plugin was a “no brainer”, because it covered the majority of my weaknesses.
SEO can be kind of intimidating for a lot of people, and maybe that’s why people don’t take the time to learn it. The bottom line is that if you have a blog, you NEED great on page SEO.
In a nutshell, that means your blog has a WAY better chance of showing up on the 1st page of Google, a LOT faster compared to what you’re doing right now. That’s where SEO Pressor comes in.
I’ll be totally honest with you, I don’t know enough about SEO to even come close to consider myself a “Guru”. Truthfully, it’s not my strong point, but I know it’s critical if you want to dominate on the organic search results.
Your Blog Is “Hidden” Without SEO Pressor
Two weeks ago a good friend of mine (who’s a SOLID 6-figure affiliate marketer) introduced me to the SEO Pressor plugin. At first glance I was thinking, oh yeah, another Wordpress Plugin. What’s this one going to do now?

Hiking The Chief – Life of Ryan | Day 6 of 30
August 16th, 2010It was an extremely hot Sunday morning when we decided to start Hiking The Chief. Are we crazy? lol, I don’t think so because it was so much fun! Just another episode with Life of Ryan. We managed to get seven people together to take on this awesome hike.
The journey to start hiking the chief began at 10:00am. It was already extremely hot! Even though the heat was crazy, I was so excited to rock this hike.
I had done it once before, about 12 years ago. So it had been a while
The great news is that I’ve been keeping myself in shape now for about the past year and a half. So I was already prepped and ready to go. I’ve got to say, I Love going for hikes in trails.

With anything in life, you can read, watch, listen, or hear about, but until You physically experience you really can’t put that under your belt. That’s why when I coach my clients, I always encourage them to EXPERIENCE life. Not just watch it.
Hiking The Chief Is Inspiring
I say that for a number of reason. Think about this for a second. When you actually go out and physically do something, now you can put that experience under your belt. If you do it through repetition, you can “own it”.
It’s takes having the physical experience to talk about it to people with confidence and certainty.
It’s pretty much the exact same thing in life and business.

10 Wordpress Plugins To Rock Your Blog
August 14th, 2010The other day I was doing a consulting for a fellow that was just getting started with Wordpress. As you know, plugins are essential in branding YOU.INC and using the Wordpress platform.
After speaking with the fellow, I decided it would be a great idea to share some of the Best Wordpress Plugins that I use. I’d love to hear what plugins you use. Also, if you have any questions about these simply comment up below!
So here we go…
All In One SEO Pack – By far one of the most crucial plugins. Look, I’m no SEO expert but I do know that this plugin ROCKS for helping get your content ranked much faster than without it. I always use this plugin for the details on my posts.
One Click Plugin Updater – This is always one of the first plugins I install when setting up a new blog. It pretty much allows you to upload zipped files for plugins and themes without having to use an FTP. An FT What? Basically, it makes it as simple as uploading a picture to change themes or add plugins right off your computer.
Ultimate Plugins Smart Update Pinger – Love this one. It helps to only PING your content once. So if you go and update or change the content (spelling/ grammar) it won’t re-ping all the sites you already had done a few minutes ago. It pays to not be a spammer.
SexyBookmarks – Yep it’s sexy. A great (and super clean) plugin for helping get your content syndicated to your readers followers. It has a really nice drop down that has dozens of different Social Sites to syndicate your content.
Comment LUV – A great plugin that leaves your latest post as a link underneath every comment you leave on other blogs. It’s a great way to expose your blog, by simply interacting with others on there’s.
Facebook Share – This is that Facebook small box on the post that counts how many times the post has been shared. It also acts as a great way to syndicate your content with a couple clicks of a button. HIGHLY RECOMMENED!
TweetMeme Retweet Button – Pretty much the same thing as Facebook share but for Twitter. Also a really hot plugin for syndicating content.
Wordpress-Facebook-Like – It’s that little Facebook thumbs up at the bottom of peoples posts. If you “like” the post your picture shows up from Facebook AND that posts shows as a link on your profile wall that you like it. Pretty sick.
Top Commentators Widget – Installs as a widget and helps give exposure to your top commenters. It’s also great for Social Proof showing you’re not the only one reading your blog….
FT Signature Manager – A great plugin to add a custom signature to every post. It also saves a heck of a lot of time adding an image for your signature. Every post it automatically adds your “chosen” premade signature.
I know there are TONS more and I’d love to hear what you use. I’ve been using these ones with great success and simply LOVE them!

How To Get Started With You.Inc
August 8th, 2010Last week I was really fortunate because a new friend of mine Hussain Aziz invited me to an interview. Of course I jumped all over the idea and after having a couple challenges meeting up, we finally got the chance to sit down.
I started Me.inc (hehe) just over one year ago and have recently experienced great success. Having struggled in the beginning I learned A LOT. Since then I’ve gone onto hooking up with some Top Leaders and investing back into my brand and business with solid programs. Now I’m in a position to help people get started and help them establish their online presence. Which I LOVE!
When you start online it can seem very overwhelming. There are a lot of different avenues to take but here’s what I suggest….. it’s called SIB-KIS. See It Big – Keep It Simple.

When someone is looking to get started online, I always ask them this question first, “Do you enjoy marketing and branding yourself online?” I believe you have to enjoy it, be passionate about it, and have fun with it.
Of course there is a process to get started online and it all starts with your Blog. Essentially that’s what Mike Dillard calls your “Nerve Center”. It’s the one place you want to drive people back to so they can learn about You.inc.
A blog in itself is not enough though. You need a variety of ways to drive people back to your Blog and Brand through several different marketing mediums.

August 3rd, 2010Do you know how there are a lot of people that ONLY stick to using the Internet and hardly ever connect with people offline? Well, I recently met with some VERY cool people offline – Josh and Margaux Traboulsee.
Two truly amazing people that you NEED to connect with if you want to take your life and business to the next level. It’s inspiring to know we had never officially spoke over the phone before deciding to meet up! One of those “Intuition” things.
After chatting for under and hour I can honestly say they are both filled with life. Truly inspiration people that genuinely care about others and are hilarious too!

July 27th, 2010Yep, you heard that right! I just finished doing a Katie Freiling Interview. So last week I had this awesome intuitive hit to reach out and see if Katie Freiling was up to doing an interview! Well wouldn’t you know see agreed and here we are today! I wanted to share with you what I went through in order to line this interview up…
I was busy cleaning up the dishes in the kitchen when I suddenly had this AWESOME intuitive hit to ask Katie Freiling to do an interview. I immediately stopped everything that I was doing and quickly ran over to the computer to fire Katie off a Facebook message.
I was SUPER pumped and excited just thinking of the idea to doing this.
Within a couple days Katie got back to me saying she’d love to! I was elated to hear the great news! I had so many cool questions that I wanted to ask her that I knew would help tons of people in similar situations.
As the interview date rolled closer, I was kind of getting nervous! I knew this was something I NEEDED to move through in order to grow. But you know all those feelings of fear can creep in.
On the day I interviewed Katie I was ready! Notes set, questions ready to go, and background information to share with people where she came from.
Everything was good! I was still feeling a bit nervous, but I was ready to go.
This has been such a great lesson how stepping out of your comfort zone is KEY from growing as an individual.

How To Bring The Fun Back Into Your Online Business – Life of Ryan | Day 4 of 30
July 24th, 2010I have to say I absolutely love this wonderful world of Internet Marketing. I’ve got some MASSIVE news that I can’t wait to share with you. This week was packed full of totally awesome events and even more importantly, amazing people.
It all started late last week when I approached Tim Atkinson about hiring his services for consultation. Have you ever thought about hiring a consultant to help you online? Do it, because it’s worth every penny.
So Tim Atkinson has this contest going where he was giving away $100 to anyone who could create a cool T-Shirt design. Not just any T-Shirt, but one that is geared towards Internet marketers and entrepreneurs. Basically, some kind of wording that would make people say. “Hey, what do you do for a living?”
There was about 130 comments with peoples suggestions. Some were just awesome. So I decided to take it a step further and actually CREATE the mock up of the T-Shirt. You can see it by Clicking Here.
You want to know the weird thing? I actually TOTALLY knew I was going to win. It’s kind of like that feeling you get in life but can’t explain….You know the one.
So wouldn’t you believe that I won because of “thinking outside the box”. Or maybe I removed the box. Anyways, it was super cool to be apart of such a powerful giveaway!

This week has been so great also because of another great fellow – Geral Gigerl . We started working together the past couple weeks because he’s starting to establish himself online.
I’m here in Canada, and he’s in Austria. The fact that we’ve been able to connect, and build a friendship is down right amazing.
This is the BEAUTIFUL thing about the Internet. You can literally connect with people all around the world and create a GLOBAL business with YOU being in the driver seat.
Not too shabby if you ask me.

How To Get Your Head In The Game (Who Is Mentoring You?) – Life of Ryan | Day 3 of 30
July 18th, 2010What comes to your mind when you hear the word Mentorship? I can share with you that having mentors is critically important in life and business. Think about this for one second, is there anyone on planet earth who has achieved what you want? If so, then find a way to position yourself around that person.
Think about who you are hanging around with now. Are the five people you invest the most time with on a daily basis empowering you?
Jim Rohn has a great quote that goes like this; “we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with”.
So, who are you spending your time with?
If you’re not surrounding yourself with people who are uplifting and empowering you, then who are you hanging around with? There are three people I chat with on a weekly basis inside this episode that I truly admire.
You want to surround yourself with people who inspire and coach you to take the scary steps that lead to positive growth and change in your life.

Finding a mentor is extremely easy. In fact, a lot of highly successful people are wanting to share how they did it with an open minded student.

You have to be passionate about what you do, surround yourself with great leaders, and take daily action.

Women Want Romance, Listen Up Guys – Life of Ryan | Day 2 of 30
July 13th, 2010Welcome back to day 2 with Life of Ryan! Every Sunday I do my best to have a relaxing “chill” day. You know how your busy ALL WEEK and Sunday is the by far the best day to get away from the computer and enjoy life? Well that’s what I did…ALL DAY!
I’ve been marketing online now for over a year, in that time I’ve learned a lot. One of the most important things I can share with you is having balance. Seriously, this can’t be overlooked.
In the past I’ve burnt a lot of relationships thinking I had to invest ALL my time into work. Now that summer is officially here, I wanted to take this time to enjoy the summer, while doing things I love.
The second day into Life of Ryan I decided to take you on the journey and drive I took right beside the ocean here in Vancouver, Canada.

Brig Hart And The Naughty Dog – Life of Ryan | Day 1 of 30
July 11th, 2010Welcome! Today I am officially kicking off the first video blog of my new venture – Life of Ryan! I’ve decided to change gears a bit. Instead of providing value in the form of education….I’m going to be delivering you value in the form of entertainment over the course of the next 30 days.
I’ve wanted to do this for a LONG time, but realized I had a few limiting beliefs around the idea. Putting yourself out there to the internet from a personal level is MUCH DIFFERENT than supplying education. But hey, if you don’t risk anything, you’ll never know.
So here we go….
